This limited edition bespoke eau de parfum , which are each individually numbered, was created by award-winning perfume designer Azzi Glasser with Antony Gormley for the Royal Acadey of Arts, London.
In September 2019, the Royal Academy of Arts will present a solo exhibition of the internationally acclaimed British sculptor Antony Gormley (b. 1950), the most significant in the UK for over a decade. To mark the exhibition the Royal Academy has worked with the artist on a collection of specially selected and exclusively developed products where the hand, eye and personality of Gormley is evident and celebrated. Over a year in the making, the highly bespoke collection, developed in detail with the artist through conversation and collaboration, reflects the materials, ideas and ethos of his work.
“I wanted to capture the DNA scent print of IRON through my nose and recreate the notes and the accords found in the molecular construction, by composing a perfume that personifies Antony’s vision and artistry. The end result is memorable and iconic when worn” – Azzi, Perfume Designer
